How Does it Work?
1. Verify Eligibility – Confirm that the selected equipment qualifies for the program and that the installation address is located within the participating utility service territory.
2. Apply the Instant Discount – Provide the instant discount to your customer at the point of sale.
3. Install and Submit – Install the qualifying HVAC equipment and submit the completed application through the DNE contractor portal.
4. Application Review – The DNE processing team will review your submission and forward it to the program for payment.
5. Inspection & Validation – The program will conduct an inspection, when required, to verify the installation and confirm product eligibility and reported information.
6. Receive Payment – Once the inspection is successfully completed and the claim is approved, DNE will remit the incentive payment to the contractor via ACH.
